About me :

I received my M.Sc. in Polymer Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. My thesis was to extract cellulose nanofibers (CNF) and prepare nanocomposite from recycled polylactic acid, a bio-based polymer. In this research, we successfully enhanced the overall properties of recycled polylactic acid using isolated CNF. Since graduation, I have been a researcher at Department of Chemical Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology and have worked at Nano Novin Polymer Co., Mazandaran, Iran. These great opportunities have provided me with a chance not only to perform in-depth research on the amelioration of sustainable bio-materials but also to increase my practical knowledge and know-how on preparing various polymer-based biocomposites, resulting in several scientific papers published in some of the well-known engineering journals, to name a few, Cellulose. As a matter of fact, I am practically interested in developing and characterizing bio-based composites and fibers, possessing suitable properties to utilize in film packaging, biomedical and tissue engineering applications. My research interests lie primarily in the areas of using composite or polymer process techniques to provide properties required for barriers, scaffolds, and hydrogels. Educations :
