About me :

I received my M.Sc. in Polymer Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. My thesis focused on extracting cellulose nanofibers (CNF) and preparing nanocomposite from a bio-based polymer named as recycled polylactic acid. In this research, we successfully enhanced the overall properties of recycled polylactic acid using isolated CNF. It goes without saying that being a researcher at Department of Chemical Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology and performing in-depth research on bio-based fibers was a marvelous opportunity so as to increase my practical knowledge and know-how on preparing polymer-based nanocomposites and nanofibers, resulting in several scientific papers published or being processed for publication in several journals, to name a few, Wood Science and Technology and Polymer Composites. My co-authors at these studies, who, indeed, are my inspired academics and mentors, were Dr. Tayebeh Behzad and Dr. Keikhosro Karimi. Moreover, I am currently working on preparing nanocomposite scaffold based on CNF and nanosilver (NAg) for wound dressing application. Additionally, I am in the course of developing a nanocomposite which can be considered as a panacea for water pollution problem. Here are other ways to read more about me:
